Barlet, Nov. 3rd, 2001 - As Matt was in town, and of course he was dying to get on the water, we went to the lake Saturday. Didn't take much arm twisting from Matt to get us out there. It is truly nice to live in Arizona... where else can you go to the lake in November, and not be cold? Got of couple pictures of Matt riding the raider. Think he had a great time.
Plesant, Sept. 14th and 15th, 2001 - We went to Lake Plesant for the
first time this year Friday night. Camped out Friday night and spent most of the day
Saturday, and came home late Saturday afternoon. There were a few people there. Us, and
Nikki brought her friend Ashley. Karen, Brian, and Zac (same people as Apache); Toby and
his friend Denise; and RJ and Denise. Yes, add them all up, and you will realize that
there were three Denises there! Was a stormy type of weekend, but we didn't get actually
rained on untill Saturday afternoon, then it poured! That's when we decided to head home.

As Toby was going to launch the Raiders, he got his truck stuck in the soft beach. Luckily
he had a tow rope, and we were able to pull him out with the Tahoe.
Toby's Truck made a couple big ruts. Well the kids decide that it would make a good mud
pit. So they decided to put some water in it, and then take a mud bath. We think they had
fun!

Apache, Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, 2001 - This was a new lake for us. It is
about a 2 and a half hour drive from our house to the lake. If we could drive straight
there, it wouldn't take but maybe an hour, but we had to drive north for a while to catch
the road that took us around Four Peaks. Then we drove back down south, crossed the
Roosevelt damn, and turned East toward the lake. There was a few miles of dirt road to the
actual boat ramp. We managed to get there around 5:30 Friday evening, and put the boat in
the water. Just as we were getting ready to head out, Karen, Brian, and their son Zack
found us and lead us to the camp site they had found in their boat, also a SeaRay. We set
up camp. Nikki and her friend setup and slept in the tent while Bob and Denise slept on
the boat. Saturday morning we drove the boat around the lake, pulled the kids on the tube
and generally had a good time. We headed home around 5:30 Saturday evening. What a nice
time on the water. Here are some pictures we took on the trip.

Bartlett, June 30, 2001 - Another great day on the lake. We went with a couple friends of ours, Barb and Dave. First time we'd been out together. They're skiers, and it was fun trying to pull them out of the water. It had been a while for both of them, and they were a bit rusty, but they got a lot farther than we did! Here are a couple pics we took.

Bartlett, May 19, 2001 - Toby and some of his friends from his dart league went up to the lake Friday night and camped out. We went up Saturday morning and met up with them. It was a cloudy day, with rain threatening. But it turned out to be a good time, and we didn't get rained on while we were there.
