Christmas 2001
On Christmas morning, we all got up to open presents. Tried to get one picture of the three of us and the dogs, but it didn't turn out all that great. None the less, here it is.
Also got one of the tree before we attacked the presents.
For the first of four Christmases we will have this year, Rob, Wendy and Lisa came over. We had steaks cooked on the new grill, baked potatoes, and broccoli. After dinner, Denise's mom and Jordan stopped by and we opened presents..
The dogs posing for their Christmas photo.
During our company Christmas party, our work pays for a formal Picture. Here is how ours turned out this year.
Here are some of Christmas decorations for this year. The dolls on the blanket and the reindeer that Denise made are sitting in the entry way. The other tree and wreath are on the back patio. The poinsettia adds a bit of Christmas color to the back yard.
And of course, the stocking hung by the fireplace, with care.
Here is Max, helping us show off our tree this year.
We added two new special decorations this year. "Right" and "Once," our two new reindeer. We think they look pretty cool standing in the front yard. It is hard to tell from these pictures, but the Bougainvillea looks really neat at night. With the white lights in the bush and above it on the house, you can actually see the red flowers. Looks very festive!
Putting the lights on the house was a challenge. Had to drill into the stucco and put in an anchor then a screw. Tried to do this about every two feet in an effort to keep the lights straight across the top of the house. We think it turned out pretty nice, plus they'll still be there for next year, so it won't be such a project.
Halloween 2001
Nik got dress up as "Poison Ivy"

Wendy and Robbie stooped by and we managed to get a picture of Robbie dressed up as "Blue"

Denise's nephew, Jordon, stopped by with Denise's Mom. Check out Jordon as "Harry Potter"

Christmas 2000
Found and developed a camera that had a bunch of stuff on it. One of
the things were some pictures from Christmas 2000. Thought we'd post them here for you to
see.
Christmas 2000. Our first Christmas together, and we had a truly beautiful REAL tree.
The stocking were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nick would soon be there.
Had a great time hanging the lights outside. Went a little crazy, maybe, but it was fun and looked rather festive when we done.
